
Charley Swayne is a lifelong learner with a true passion for teaching. At the college level he has taught Mathematics, Statistics, Ethics, Finance, Economics, and Industrial Engineering. He has presented seminars on Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Cost Control, Investments, Money and Banking, and yes, Poker. His teaching and seminar presentations have been at the University of Michigan, Virginia Tech, Radford College, Upper Iowa University, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Winona State, Michigan State and Babson College just to name a few. He has appeared on over 100 media shows, authored many magazine articles and several books. He has received emeritus status from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the "Excellence in Teaching" award from Upper Iowa.
Professor Swayne has dedicated the past few years to applying his math and stats research to Texas Hold'em; which has been crafted into a Poker Math course exclusive for Poker VT. He has managed to take some of the most complex Hold'em math principles and has simplified them for poker players to use at the tables.
