Matt Kay

Matt Kay's breakout year started immediately in 2007 after he made a New Years Resolution to run better. While many people quit their resolutions after only a day, Matt held true to his and won the 1st Sunday Million of the year for a cash of $201,000. After that he continued to have a great breakout year, winning the Pokerstars Second Chance for $51,000, the FTP Mulligan for $27,000, multiple 109rs on PokerStars, and several other tournaments. He also was the runner up in the Cardplayer's Online Player of the Year race.

In 2008 he put in less volume, but still had a successful year, with his biggest score being an ECOOP event on ipoker for $91,000.

Away from poker, Matt enjoys playing guitar, the occasional video game (especially the older Mario games), and is currently spending his time learning more about the game and investing in stock markets.
