Paul Brevard (Landman)

Are you sure this stuff isn't illegal? I am having pros ask me "What the hell have you done boy?"

I am sorry if all the updates bother you but you will not believe this. I have won two Satellite tournament at the Horseshoe for the Main Event in Vegas now. I was the slight chip leader in one and got over $5000 and won last night and chopped it with the largest portion going to me, being $7500. These were $120 rebuy tournaments at the Horseshoe. I only bought 1 rebuy last week and none this week, with over 100 in the first and I think there were 80 in the second. I have now won 5 tournaments and placed in 2 more out of 9, in less than 2 weeks!

When I walk into the poker room, there are people that actually groan!

I made the guys sick! I read players like never before! I told guys when they had K's. I knocked a big time player out with a call that had a Q on the board and I had paired the 9 with my little 9-2. She came up to me later and begged me to tell her how I read her that way! I was at the final table and the second in chips went all in and my gut told me that he was bluffing. I won the match and knocked him out with Ace High! Everyone knew that I was the worst at reading players until now. They are going to start asking me if I am the Robert Johnson of the poker world and did I sell my soul at the cross roads. I thought it might be a rush but after 5 wins and a ton of cash, no one is saying it's just a rush anymore.

Tell Daniel thanks.

I must be the poster child for PVT!

Thanks,
Paul Brevard

I just watched Daniel Negreanu's video about small ball poker and I must say that it gave me a deeper understanding of a winning strategy than any book has given me. And I have read countless of Sklanskys, Malmuths, Harringtons and whatever they are called.

The thing is that most books teach you how to play against some sort of random opponent and not a real-life player. I sometimes find it hard to use the strategies the books provide since the game changes so much depending on who you are up against. I think Daniel is closer to the real game than Sklansky ever has been and he understands that a winning strategy much depends on the opponents' playing style.

Furthermore, Daniel also discusses one of the most important aspects of any poker strategy - how to defend yourself against it. Even though a certain strategy doesn't fit you, it is equally important to know what strategy other players employ. To be honest, you don't necessarily have to play small ball poker to become a winner, but you need to know what other people are up to.

All in all, this was a great video and a nice break from listening to the same bad beat stories my friends (and perhaps I) tell when we try to discuss poker.

Thanks,
Marcus Shaw

Thank you Thank you Thank you... The insight into the various techniques winning players use is such a huge assest to making leaps and bounds in my game. Who would have thought poker was so complex with so many thinking layers. Finally I get to sit down at the table with the advantage. Please don't let the members of my home game join :)

I would like to thank the Poker VT team for the good advice and good work they bring with the Poker virtual training platform. I have started to use the service about a year ago and became very familiar with the 'Small Ball' philosophy when I saw the benefits of the technique during Single-Tables and Multi-Tables Tournaments. I was able to see very quickly the result by applying the simplest tricks and strategies and my journey began in improving.

The 'Small Ball' technique made me a more successful player over time. I won several MTT's over the past year and lately I managed to win an impressive 25K out of 100K Guaranteed by finishing 1st of 492 players! Poker VT will definitely help improve your game, but you will have to invest time to practice, review and adapt your playing style to adapt to the continuous evolution in the poker world.

If you want a good advice, don't dive in the online poker sea if you don't have an arsenal of ammunition to fight against the biggest sharks... Get your ammunition at PokerVT

I would like to thank ALL of you guys PVT Pro's and members, reading and watching and watching really help me A LOT. When I'm not on here I'm reading other forms and watching people play online. LOTS of Hours just watching people like JCarver, Adam Junglen and Jon Turner play live. I have only been playing since October 09' and I hope this is just a start of a long and fruitful relationship with PVT and its GREAT member!!!

Thanks again!!! For helping me TAKE DOWN the $5.50 NL Hold'em ($20,000) for $4127.00

I have joined a couple of other online poker training sites in the past but Poker VT has worked the best for me. The content is extremely educational and seems
endless (I joined on July 4, 2009 and am still only about half way through all the videos).

The forum is just as valuable because you can do things like post a hand
history and get immediate feedback from both the pros and other experienced forum members. It's pretty darn near getting one on one training for about $1.00 per day. Where else can you get value like that?? After I joined Poker VT I opened an online account and cashed in a freeroll tournament a couple of weeks later for $2.25. I have built my bankroll to almost $300.00 (since August, 2009) and that's only playing about 1 - 2 sitngos a day and playing limit cash about an hour a week and maybe a small buyin tourney once in awhile.

I can just imagine what it would be if I got really serious and spent some serious time multi-tabling. My bankroll has increased more in a couple of months than it did in the previous couple of years. So whether you're a winning, losing or break-even player I highly recommend this site. Before you know it instead of putting your hard earned dollars in other player's pockets they will be putting their's in your's instead.

Hello to all at PVT

I've been playing poker online and some live since May of last year. I had some moderate success as a newbie, with beginners luck...That hooked me in real good. I won a small tournament and some serious cash not knowing what the heck I was doing, and then over the balance of last year really got murdered.

I was very discouraged by all the bad beats, the losing hands, and really having little clue as to what to do in certain situations. Then the Poker GODS Opened up the Heavens to me, and some how I stumbled on PVT site and signed up right away after a trial period..

This was IT! A place to ask questions of the pros, a place to work hard reviewing these fabulous videos on all types of poker. And after spending the last 3-4 months nose to the grind stone I began to see the light in a lot of ways. The beauty of this site is the mere fact you can go to any video and repeat it over and over again and again...You can view the new added material once you get the hang of what you're looking at on these videos...

The whole idea was to see predictable repeatable redundant patterns of play and betting especially on SNG's. By watching the videos of the Pros like Derk I was able to fill the leaks and the many holes in my game. I began to realize I was 100% clueless about certain hands in certain positions, and now I finally GOT IT!

I've learned WHAT NOT TO DO! That's half the battle.

It's money WELL spent that's for sure...heck it's cheap if you ask me......:-)

So everyone join up at PVT and smile all the way to the bank.

See you all on Poker VT

warmest regards

one happy poker player

I would just like to thank you so much for starting this site. Since I joined a few months ago I have been undertaking the training and reviewing the videos. I have run well in a number of small stake tournaments only to get a bad beat near or just in the money.

However tonight was different. I have been studying Devo’s MTT videos and followed them to a tee. To my sheer joy I beat 1,808 runners tonight in a $5 rebuy $20,000 guarantee. Took me 8 hours but what a buzz. I finally feel I have moved from a basic player to one that can hold their own anywhere.

Thanks once again to you I am $4,325 richer.

Hi Daniel, I would like to thank you for your techniques demonstrated in your "extreme" small ball videos. I used this technique for about 70% of the WCOOP ME on Poker Stars. your training got me to the 48th position and I won a great $23,048!

By the way guys, forgive me for my english.. I'm a french Canadian ;)

Thank you very much Daniel

I was a member of poker VT for some time and learned a lot about the game. I went from a losing player to now making about $15K per month playing online poker for 4 hours a day. This is a great life. Working 4 hours a day with enough money and time to enjoy life. Thank you so much Daniel!

I knew I needed to change my game but had no idea HOW TO CHANGE MY
GAME. After I closed my PStars account for 6 months in frustration
only a few days ago, I started to think about what I could do to
improve my game. I remembered hearing about your site on one of the
"Poker Edge" podcasts I listened to, and decided to give it a try.
For the price of one tournament buy-in, I figured, why not do
something to try and improve my game instead of donking off more
money at the casino. I'm here (in Paris) taking classes for the
summer and have all afternoon to just listen and learn.

So I took the plunge, as they say.

As I started to listen, I began to realize all the limitations and
false assumptions I had been making about the efficacy of my tight,
hyper-aggressive style that I had learned and become very good at
over the last 18 months. Slowly as I watched the small ball lessons
unfold, I started to see more and more of the big picture. I finally
had my epiphany moment while watching one of Daniel's small ball lessons.
I had been taking notes when I paused Daniel in mid-sentence,
and furiously scratched out the following revelation/commentary on
why to date I am only a "break even" player.

I wanted to thank you for all of the great content at Poker VT. I have yet to play with the Small Ball style for money, but have been practicing with it online at play money tables and already can see how it works and why it is so much better. I am
going to go to the 60 Euro freezeout today at the local casino and
give it a whirl. Even if I don't win today, I'm positive that my
game has made a huge leap forward and when I get home to AC will get
my first big cash this autumn. A bit pretentious perhaps, but I
truly sense that my approach to the game has been fundamentally
altered by your program for the better. I can't wait to see the
results.

PokerVT's instruction when concerning sit-n-go's has helped my sit-n-go play tremendously. With a multiple number of pro sit-n-go grinders, there is never a shortage of material to be learned. Through (PVT) instruction, my theory on how to approach a sit-n-go has changed completely. This has lead to a noticeable increase in my ROI% and has significantly increased my bankroll.

Thanks PokerVT,

Nick,

I just wanted to let you know that your Poker VT course on SNG's is excellent. I was a new subscriber to Poker VT and was going to let my subscription lapse but I got hooked on your course and decided to keep my membership, so I could follow all the way through your course. I can't wait 'til the rest gets posted!

An added benefit is, thanks to your course, I am in the win column a lot more for my SNG play. My play is much much better. Based on your course, I have been able to move my ITM up to 42% for single tables. I expect that should go up even higher once your course gets to the final in the money segments. Right now I am using Daniel's small ball method, once I make it to the money, which seems to be working, but I suspect you have one that may work better. I'm not trying to start anything between you and Daniel but you have been right on target for SNG play so far.

Your on the bubble play is great! Players think I am out of my mind, but keep on giving me their blinds anyway. You are right on target with the reasoning and the psychology behind it.

Any way, just wanted to say thanks.

Hi Matt I joined July 4th last year. July was learning. August was out of site up $3000 mostly playing live in local poker rooms. My respect from the local players went way up. I have been steady not wanting to call any attention to my play. Other player don't know want to think. The guy who first introduced me to the game has a league. We play weekly with a big game once a month. I won September and October with cashes November and December. Tied for the yearly championship. PokerVT has made a big difference.

What fun!!!

Personally when I started learning the game of hold-em it was with limit cash games at the local casino. Then I began expanding into no limit through tournaments again at local casinos and bars eventually leading to online poker. I have played no limit cash but the variances are too great for me and my bankroll as it has, until this point, only been a hobby. Then I signed up to Poker VT.

This site, PokerVT, has opened my mind in ways I had no idea.

However... I once thought on a poker scale of 10, that I was about a 7, this site has opened my eyes and forced me realize I am probably a 3, for now, with the chance to maybe get up to a 6 within the next year and hopefully someday an 8.

I believe all the training and videos, interactions on the forum, games and tests, plus the opportunity to not only play with pros in tournaments, but learn from commentary posted along with videos afterwards is a brilliant revelation for poker players world wide.

This is an enlightening opportunity that I would recommend to any poker player who has the desire to improve their game. This will improve your game no matter what level of a player you think you are. If I could send myself a message in the past, it would be to sign up for PokerVT right away! Thank You to all the pros and team at PokerVT for providing such a tremendous, interactive learning environment for poker players everywhere.

I love this training site! I've read all of the books & I just learn better by watching & listening. The Hand Analysis sections have helped me tremendously! Listening to the players thought process as well as having Daniel add his comments are priceless to me. I now, really understand how important position is & when I can be more aggressive in situations. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Hey Daniel,
My name is Aaron, johnnyhilldo on PokerVT, or (johnny_hilldo on Full Tilt where I play most).

I have to tell you that PokerVT is AWESOME! It has changed my game from a break even player to FInally a winning player!

Learning your small ball approach has dramatically improved my play and I am not risking my tournament life on marginal situations like I was doing before.

I have to admit that I was skeptical to invest in a poker training site with so many forums out there, but you being the person I respect the most in the poker world, I figured i'd give it a try, and honestly, I figured if I could make just a little bit more than the monthly fee, I was free rolling!

To give you an idea of what has happened since I joined. After going broke once again in January 2008, I reloaded my Full Tilt account with $50 in August 2008, and by starting with $5 sng's built my bankroll to $500, then moved up to $10 sng's and got my bankroll up to $1750, and have my bankroll sitting at $3850 as of November 25 2008! For me this is HUGE, as I have never cashed out any money into my bank account, and I am finally able to take some money out to pay some bills, you have saved my poker game!

I have a lot of confidence going into tournaments knowing I have an advantage over the field!

Thanks again!
All the best,

- Aaron Hill

PS: Congratulations on winning the BC Poker Championship! I live in Vancouver, and hope to meet and play with you at the final table next year.
I have to tell you that PokerVT is AWESOME! It has changed my game from a break even player to finally a winning player!

Dear Daniel,

I am so glad I've been introduced and have joined Poker VT in just two days. By all means, your small ball style has improved my 5-year self-taught poker skill overnight.

Before, I did win a lot of big hands by playing tight, just waiting for things to hit and make the bet. But from time to time, I've always come home with some of the worst bad beats that are in my book. Nut straight vs. river flush, set over set, and nut flush vs. river boat. None of the less, AA and KK got cracked all the time. I have always simply just complained about my luck, never even occurring to me simply because a lot of strong and good players just read through my patens, therefore, they were able to crack me without notice.

After your detailed lesson on poker VT about "SMALL BALLS," my style has improved significantly by me selectively raising the hands that I like, in the best position there is possible. I have earned a lot of money in the pass two days. I won first place in a small tournament on Pokerstar.com for $2817, then continuously earning a lot of money online 1-2 NL Hold'em games. I just deposited $300 in the account, so I can hands-on practice what you've said on Poker VT. My bank roll in two day is now $3500.

Here is my latest win in one pot that I've got Quad Deuces vs. KK. By continuing to raise into a small pot, I was then able to trap the KK later to call my all-in at the river. AWESOME!!

Please see attached screenshot! Again, thank you very much. I will continue to listen to your advices and practice your strategy.

I'm here to recommend Poker VT. Poker VT is Daniel Negreanu's virtual training site for poker. Daniel has won four WSOP bracelets and two WPT titles with career tournament earnings of over ten million dollars. Through Poker VT you'll learn from Daniel and a team of successful players including Paul Wasicka, Adam Junglen, Annette Obrestad and more. Daniel has also brought Professor Charley Swayne to the team to share his knowledge of math and how it relates to poker.

Now, Daniel is known for reading the minds and the hands of his opponents. How would you like to know what Daniel is thinking while he plays poker. Through Poker VT, you can make that happen. Videos are an essential part of Poker VT and Daniel even lets you see his cards and he'll even tell you why he makes the plays that he makes and you'll see why Daniel's strategies work.

I've had some success in poker. But since I've added what Daniel teaches in Poker VT to my arsenal, my winnings in cash games and tournaments have increased as a result of paying attention and applying what I've learned.

If you're happy with your game, and if you feel that you don't need to improve, you don't need Poker VT. But, if you're not doing as well as you'd like, and if you've been blaming your losses on variance, or downswings, or just plain bad luck, playing the same way and hoping for the best just will not work. Wouldn't you want to learn from the best? Daniel Negreanu is the best and he's here to help you through Poker VT. Poker VT is such a small investment toward your success in Poker, I recommend Poker VT.

3Pairs (Email)

Daniel,

My name is Ryan , or 3Pairs on Poker VT and other sites (sometimes 3pairsUK depending on the site). I just wanted to thank you and your team, Poker VT is the best piece of poker learning I have come across. I am a big fan of the small ball approach from the smaller raise preflop to the check call for say 1000 rather than bet 1000 then get re raised and fold - why not see the turn for the same price huh?. I was doing a lot of the stuff anyway but not really pining myself as a small ball player or any other type of player for that matter. With the help of Poker VT my results both online and live have improved dramatically and my confidence of playing small bet poker to the river rather than scaring people away on the flop has been the biggest factor.

I would....well I already do....recommend Poker VT to anyone.

Thanks again

Ryan (3pairs)

PS: The reason I am called 3pairs on poker sites is because when I started playing poker just over a year ago I was convinced I had beat someones full house with 3 pairs. Everyone laughed at me of course but we all have to learn. Just thought that would make you laugh.
With the help of Poker VT my results both online and live have improved dramatically

Wow. I LOVED Junglen's videos. I watched all of them as well as DN's beginners videos to patch up obvious leaks(which were embarrassing when I noticed them) and it has improved my tournament game DRAMATICALLY.

I entered a tournament I normally play, the 5.50 NLHE MTT at 6:00 pm PST, keeping in mind what I had just learned and got 4th out of 1500 for a cool 400!! Obviously the system just paid for itself and I have barely even sunk my teeth in.

In the thread in gen poke, JC stated how you must consider how you invest in a poker training program to earn more money which is what convinced me. I am obviously a micro tournament grinder and feel way more confident in my abilities now over the rest of the field.

Invest in the program; you will not regret it!!

THANK YOU DN!

THE WEBSITE IS AMAZING!! From Small Ball to Learn the Math with CS and even Annette's online tournaments. SMALL BALL: what an awesome way to beat the game, it's actually supported by the math, which suprised me GREAT JOB DN. CHARLIE SWAYNE: that says it all right there, this guy is a math GENIUS, he has such a great philosophy on the game and that really helps me understand bad beats and sucking out. Dont even get me started on the N-SPAT, very nice touch DANIEL..

Yeeeess. I needed this. So many things have clicked for me instantaneously. While I'm not ALWAYS winning, my current ROI has been high once I put what I learned from Poker VT into play. I went from a frustrated heads up player, to a guy who easily wins more than not. So confidently that I tried playing a $20 shoot out tourny on Full Tilt on Sunday, to win the first round easily and of all the players left in the second round, who do they put me up against? Of course Scott Fischman, who cracks my pocket Kings with Q-5 unsuited and leaves me wobbly.

But after I shook it off, it was back to the ring games, sit and goes, and smaller tournies that felt like I was somehow cheating, everything seemed so much more obvious and easy to play after watching and digesting what the site has to offer.

My suggestions? Quite simple. More, more... Dear god more!!!

That and some lessons I still really need to learn, while I seem to have figured out limit Omaha hi/lo (and seem to dominate at the really low limit tables), I still struggle with Omaha PL, both hi/lo and hi.

Finally, money management. Disciple, you say, is one of the key factors that makes a pro, and it might be common sense, but I honestly believe I need serious training on how to know how to take care of my wins/income when I'm facing a really bad run of cooler hands, getting rivered over and over again (which has happened to me, and I seem to finally be out of!)

I'm happy I signed up to Poker VT. Update always! ;-P

Yee I have found that the cash game video's have helped me a lot thus far. I mostly play sit and go's and MTT. After watching the video's from boostedJ I decided to try out some 1/2 NL 6 max. I have profited about $1000 so far in about 2 weeks playing a few hours a day.

The biggest selling point of PokerVT is that it is simply a more enjoyable way to learn. The site is layed out beautifully, and the live video lectures and lessons are not only informative, they are simply a pleasure to watch. The quality of instructors is definately key here, and we will look forward to viewing more videos from this team. There are also a couple of side games to play: D's nuts, and poker jargon which are fun for a few minutes. Also remarkably, even with all the resource issues, the loading times of this site are very fast. Even faster than some of the regular basic html based sites out there.

I am new to full contact poker and Poker VT, but so far it's excellent. I was a member of Poker X Factor and Card Runners and they were excellent sites, however, the quality of the videos and staring at a poker board got boring after awhile and it was hard to stay focused.

I really like this premise, and if it's updated, this site will definitely be the premier site. Everything is explained very well and very naturally. For me the most important parts are the math and it's explained exceptionally well here.

For those complaining about the start-up and monthly fees etc, I don't get it. If you're even looking to learn to play poker, which is obvious if you're interested in Poker VT, then I would hope you are planning on also making profit playing poker. I would then assume and hope you would be looking to make more than a couple hundred bucks which would more than pay for using this site. Knowledge is power and you can't expect it to be free. Also, this is the same price that the other two sites charge when it's obvious this site costs way more to run and has had a hell of a lot more backing put into it.

The last point is it is FEATURING DANIEL N, PAUL WASICKA, and KIRK M. These three names are very big names in the industry, why would they put out something that is crap to tarnish there name or image? I am surprised people even have to ask if the site is good when backed by those names. I signed up within minutes of finding out about this site purely on the idea that Daniel was attached and as long as I have been following poker and playing (not long, little of a year,) Daniel has always come off as a very reputable guy, so he would not put out something that is crap to tarnish what he has worked so hard to build for so long, like his image.

Overall I would highly recommend it. Forget about the start-up fees, and monthly payments and be thankful we have resources like this rather than what the players had to deal with back in the day.
For me the most important parts are the math, and it's explained exceptionally well here.

Topic is supposed to say - Poker VT Has Improved My Play 10 Fold. No way to rename a topic on this board??

Just a post to say that the Poker VT team and Daniel's small ball strategy in particular, has started to pay off for me already. I am so glad I joined the site. Daniel and company are GREAT instructors -- they really break down the concepts they are teaching really well and make it very easy to learn and understand. I'm super impressed!!

I find there is a HUGE difference in the QUALITY of the instructions from Daniel and the other instructors at Poker VT vs. the various other online training sites. In the past I was a member of another poker training site (plus I've had access to the most popular ones) and Poker VT is my favorite.

I have not been playing very well before I joined Poker VT. I had lost some of the enthusiasm I once had for poker but this site has excited me about poker again, which only fuels my desire to learn all I can and become a really good player again.

I just joined a few days ago and already I have had one final table, plus I made the top 25 last night in a tournament and 18th tonight in the same tourney, to which I directly attribute to the training I've received here so far.

I had my opponents frustrated, I got paid on almost all my value bets on the river, picked off bluffs, people were going broke to me by overplaying their hands while I only played big pots with big hands, I even had a guy say how it sucked that I had position on him every time preflop. I am one very satisfied customer.

One more thing - the amount of content is staggering considering the site has only been around for a very short time. I have so much still to watch, it's insane.

Keep up the great work Poker VT Instructors.

Hello,

I recently subscribed to your PokerVT to attempt to improve my game. I have been playing small stakes for a couple years. I was trying to make the break from being a break even/small win player to cashing more consistently. Your site has been extremely helpful, and you have found a way to keep me interested while I am learning. I always enjoyed watching Daniel on TV as he would break down hands, this really takes it a step further.

I was unsure about investing $150 in this training, my usual reload amount is $100.00, occasionaly more. I decided to give it a shot and when I cashed a little money out of stars, I diverted half of it to your sign up. Two weeks later, (and one day after taking hell from my wife for shipping you $150) I cashed my biggest tourney to date....over $2k when I took 4th in a field of over 4600 people in the 15k guaranteed at stars. My previous largest cash was probably $600.
Now, yes I got hit by the deck at the right times, came from behind a couple times, and it just seemed to be my day, but I have been running deeper in a lot of tourneys lately, and I seem to be making the right moves even when I wind up getting sucked out on. I am giving myself a much better opportunity to win.
I know that your course has played a role in helping me analyze where I am in every hand better, making me realize spots where I can improve.

I don't expect to turn pro anytime soon, if ever, but I feel that my edge has improved a lot thanks to your site. I would recommend the investment to anyone looking to improve their game, regardless of their level.

Thanks

Dominic

Yep, the site is definitely worth the investment. I am only a very small player at the moment, playing the 25/50 cash tables, and by that I mean 0.25c/0.50c tables. lol. But I have made a couple of hundred dollars this month and decided to invest it in PokerVT. Hopefully one day I'll be playing alongside players like Daniel, but that is a very long way off in the distance. PokerVT will hopefully shove me in the right direction.

My game has definitely changed so far and it's amazing how much different poker is when you play small ball.

I used to be a tight, passive player but that has changed a lot now. As an example, I had a guy to my left yesterday and I got right under his skin. Everytime I played and was first into the pot, I just did the same raise again and again. This didn't please him at all. Well he eventually decided to play back at me but he totally picked the wrong time. I had AA and did the usual raise. The annoyed guy was obviously getting fed up and re-raised me 8x my raise! I paused for a little while, for effect, then shoved all-in. He insta-called and showed AK off suit. The board threw out low cards, my aces held up and he was gone.

I know players re-raise with AK, but he definitely took an over-aggressive stance in my view. My all-in didn't phase his thoughts at all. It was probably fueled by a few hands he had seen of mine when I had suited connectors that I had raised with. So he probably had me on 10-J suited or something. lol

Anyway, that hand truely shows what small ball poker can do to players and I am certainly glad to be a pupil. I still have a lot to learn and a lot of videos to watch, but I agree with previous posters in that Daniel seems to make things clear.

Keep up the good work . I am at the very start of the Yellow Brick Road and I'd like to get to Oz one day

Hey guys,

I have to send this testimonial in to show my appreciation for everything you guys are doing at Poker VT. I joined Poker VT a couple of months ago. I have been playing poker for maybe a year but havent been able to dedicate a time consistently to it with work and all. I joined Poker VT and looked through the general small ball strategy by Daniel and I would say it has really improved my game. Thanks a lot to Daniel and all the other pros associated with Poker VT. I played my first live tournament over the weekend. It was a $230 buy-in with the winner getting a seat to the WSOP. There were 140 entrants.I ended up in 7th place and made a cool $1000. The credit goes to the training provided by Poker VT. My special thanks to Daniel for sharing the small ball strategy. Keep up the good work guys.
Thanks,
Vinay.

Hi,

I’ve just started using the training on this site and after going thru the beginner strategy videos I decided to play a 27 player SNG (on Full Tilt Poker).

I won! I’ve never won a MTT SNG before!

I can’t wait to keep learning from your site.

Thanks,

Just a short note to say thank you. I put off purchasing your program for many months. I ran bad for about 3-4 months and decided I needed to take a break and study. At the right time I got another email with a poker tip from Daniel with an invitation to sign up. I decided to sign up and study the material as diligently as I could. I studied for three weeks and decided to go to the local poker room to try some of the things I have learned. It was just an $80 buyin tournament with 86 players and I won the tournament. The very next night I played a low buyin internet tournament with a large field of 3600 players and finished 2nd. One live action tournament win and one Internet 2nd. Pretty good for some one who could'nt get anywhere's close to a final table for the last 3-4 months. I will keep studying and improving with Poker VT and I hope to move up to larger tournaments with bigger paydays in the near future. Thanks again!!

I remember when I played casually for a few years at the local card
club in London and I kept noticing in tournaments that I always ended
up being the short stack, and always getting knocked out by being bad
beat. I couldn't work out why some people would always get a huge chip
lead, and I would whittle away with no hands.

Playing small ball is the perfect solution. It is a style in which you
approach poker face on from a confident angle, with its philosophy of
playing more hands, but playing them well. It relies less so on the
hands that you get, but more so the image that you create. Poker VT
really has taught me how to implement this style into my play. Their
in depth videos really help show the thought processes and strategies
that are optimal for any tournament or cash game.

Since joining, I've managed to win more tournaments then before,
online and live, as well as being able to be analytical and honest
about my play. Poker VT has given me the confidence to not be intimidated by
other players, and to be able to achieve results, as well as handling
the emotional swings that come with the game. I'd advise anyone who is
serious about poker to put in the extra hours of studying and join Poker VT.
